Senior School
Our Senior school caters for dancers from 13yrs to Open age and Pre-Professional students. Class packages are from 1 class per week to 11 classes per week depending on the level of commitment, and can be tailored to each student. Classes are grouped together ensuring there are days off for all students.

Pre Senior – 13-14yrs
The Pre Senior age group at JAM Performing Arts has up to 11 classes per week on offer meaning you have the ability to structure a dance program to suit you! There are also Eisteddfod & Exam classes to add for the dancer that wants to pursue a career in performing or teaching.
Classes are held on Monday & Tuesday evenings and Saturdays. Please contact us for times and prices or to book a trial.
Senior – 15-16yrs
Similar to the Pre Senior classes, the Senior age group has up to 11 classes per week available fitting in dance around a work or study schedule is a breeze! The Eisteddfod & Exam classes on offer for this age group focus on developing a teaching and performing career with personalised guidance to take that next step into the industry.

Open – 17yrs +
Open classes at JAM Performing Arts are tailored to the advanced dancer that has completed their training and are looking at maintaining their skill level. Challenging classes that are current industry standard and style. With Pay As You Go packages these classes are perfect for both professional dancers between contracts or the retired dancer for fun and fitness.

Elite Dancer Program
EDP in an extension program for gifted and talented dancers. Acceptance into this program is by application and audition only with minimum standard and age requirements. Extension classes are held on Thursday afternoons and are in addition to the age group open classes. The students study a range of styles with specialist teachers in Pilates, Contemporary, Ballet, Broadway Jazz, PBT, Partnering, Musical Theatre & Pointe. Expressions of Interest are open in October for the following years intake. With the class size very limited, this program gives each dancer opportunity for 1 on 1 teaching and development.
Pre Professional Courses
JAM Performing Arts Pre-Professional Program is a 1-day/week program that prepares students for a professional career in the dance world. There are courses in Audition technique, Nutrition, Business management, Creating a showreel and Audition card and Teaching. Students are able to complete various Certificate level qualifications provided by the Australian Dance Institute RTO 91600. There is also opportunity to complete their CSTD Teachers Certificate in Dance also. This program is open to students in years 10-12 at school and acceptance is by application and audition. In working with the students High School, this program replaces 1 school subject and will count toward their overall grade 12 marks.
